Matplotlib
Matplotlib is a Python 2D plotting library which produces publication quality figures in a variety of hardcopy formats and interactive environments across platforms.
Version 2.2 of the library includes these perceptually uniform sequential colour-maps by Nathaniel J. Smith, Stefan van der Walt, and (in the case of viridis) Eric Firing. Details on the motivation and production of the maps can be found in this note.
